The Legion of Super-Heroes first met Tyroc when several Legionnaires responded to an emergency on Marzal Island. At first, Tyroc attempted to stop the Legion from assisting. After patching up their differences and working together to save the island, Tyroc was offered Legion membership. He initially refused, although he had come to admire the tolerance and courage of the Legionnaires he had met.

Troy is a man dedicated to his work, raised from an early age to be a superhero, he caries it out with eagernes, but he is somewhat rebellious about how he goes about it. He is aware of his attractiveness and somewhat agressive in his pursuits. Although he was a loner on Marzal, he has been making attemtps to be more social.

Troy is actually happy with his life, he is a natural hero and would not have it any other way.

POWERS:

Tyroc's powers controled by varying vocal restritations and expressed though solfege not unlike the ones used in singing. In music, solfege (is a pedagogical technique for the teaching of sight-singing in which each note of the score is sung to a special syllable, called a "solfege syllable" (or "sol-fa syllable"). The seven syllables normally used for this practice in English-speaking countries are: Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, and Ti. Tyroc uses these solfages as a means to produce predictable results from his powers. Because he possessed perfect ptich he can actually sustain the actual note in the right registers to keep the power active.

Do: produces pkyokenis enabling hims to control flames, by varing the octaves he can make fire do almost anything from increase to a firestom to become little more than dancing lights.

Re: Causes an occilation in the air that grants Tyroc a protective forcefield. It is hightly resilient but sufficiently powerful blows set up an counter resonance which will burst the force field like a bubble.

Mi: Using this note, Tyroc is able to temporarily tear a hole in time space which he can pass through to other locations. Time Space only refers to the fact that regarless of the distance, it does not take him any significant time to teleport.

Fa: This note allows Tyroc basic matter transmutation. By varying the level of the note he can effect changes in the Alkalai Metal, Alakaline Earth metals, Boron, Carbon, Nitrogen, Chologin and Halogen groups of the periodic table of elements. The most common effect of this manipulation is contolled explosions. He is not like Elemant Lad who can manipulate any element he encounters.

So: Use of this note grants Tyroc Telekenisis, he can lift several tons but if he tried to pick up a legion cruiser he would strain his voice afterwards leaving him powerless.

La: When Tyroc sings to plants, he can really get them to grow, and even do things. He is less skiled with this power because of a reluctance to disturb the delicate balance of the 31st Century Ecosystem.

Ti: When Tyroc uses this note he can gain control of the wind, he is limited by the actual top speeds of the planet he is on.

When Tyroc varies these notes, he is able to produce two additional powers. One that he can inflict vertigo on an individual or a group. He does so by rapidly altering the area around a person so that their inner ear and balancing mechanisms are disrupted.

When Tyroc manipulates the notes in at full power, he can manipulate the weather itself, rapidly generating powerful storms in a matter of moments. When doing so the prevailing weather conditions determine the difficulty of changing them so that producing a tropical storm on a cool dry day would be much more difficult than is it was a warm and humid day.

Presumeably if Tyroc were to alter the notes in other ways he might be able to produce even more effects, but to date he has not done so.

He can identify auditory activation commands and even reproduce them. He could speek with a native accent of any region he knows the language. Actually he could speak with the accent even if he did not know the langugae but the communication would be meaningless.

Mimicry: Because of his perfect pitch and vocal powers, Tyroc can imintate almost any sound he hears, even mimicing others voices including speech patterns.

Linguistics: Although Interlac is the most commonly spoken language, Tyroc has a nack for learning otherlanguages.

Singing: Not surprisingly Tyroc has an amazing singing voice, and when he is not with the Legion, he sings professionally.

Eidetic memory: Tyroc remembers everything he every hears.

Martial Arts: Tyroc is skilled in the martial arts of of Marzal. He is not necessarily the greatest at them, but he uses them when he cannot rely on his powers.

DISADVANTAGES:

Tyroc requires a medium that will conduct sound in order to operate his powers. In a faccum he is powerless.

He also possesses all the weakness associated with being human.

EQUIPMENT:

Trans-suit: Standard Legion Issue, the all-purpose Transsuit was developed in recent years by industrialist RJ Brande as a method of safe space movement and protection against environments that are hostile towards or unable to support sentient life. Each Transsuit if form-fitting and transparent, made of a stretchable molecular compound that can stretch, grow or change with the wearer's form). Each Transsuit can support its wearer up to around five-thousand degrees (such as, say, a sun), or cold temperatures that are almost absolute Zero (such as outer space). The Transsuit also contains an air filtration array in it's makeup, allowing the wearer to breathe in an airless environment (or a water-based environment) for up to twenty four hours before the air inside the Suit Envelope begins to befoul itself. The filtration system also prevents harmful or alien substances from affecting the wearer, by stopping such things before they enter . This allows Legionnaires to move through space without killing themselves, though it offers no additional protection for those Legionnaires who have no difficulty moving and breathing in space.

TRANSPORTATION:

Legion flight ring: Standard Legion Issue. Designed by the Invisible Kid noted the unique properties of Coluan waste materials which he fashioned into the first of the Legion Flight Rings. Each Ring, now standard Legion issue, comes equipped with a hyperspace communicator allowing Legionnaires to communicate across interstellar distances. Each Ring also contains a sub-space transmitter beacon, allowing for Legion tracking equipment to track the Ring anywhere in Known space.

The rings themselves allow for any Legionnaire to fly, based upon the natural or enhanced speed of the ring-wearer. The ring creates a personalized anti-gravity field around the wearer which allows self-propulsion through open space (hence, they are able to function in the vacuum of outer space). As a result, faster Legionnaires will be able to fly faster, and those who already are capable of natural flight will find an enhancement to their speed. Ultra-Boy, for example, could easily break Mach-1 by combining the Ring's field with his Ultra Speed ability, whereas someone without flight powers of their own (Saturn Girl, Invisible Kid, Spark), would be gifted with the ability to fly at a top speed of around Seventy-Five (75) Miles Per Hour. The Rings themselves seem to be self-sustaining, the half-life of the Dense Valorum having not yet been determined.
