He's not nearly as shy as Clark Kent once was. He doesn't hesitate to wear a variety of clothes that cling to his body. He has the super-human build as many Kryptonians which allows for very little fat on his body. He doesn't hesitate to wear a variety of clothes, although none of it is very expensive. He has never been able to afford expensive clothing, nor does he want to start now. He wears clothes that look nice, but that are fairly inexpensive.

Ben is an extremely easy-going hero. He grew up on a farm, and has many of the values that people pride the MId West on having. He is a good person at his core, although he has many issues with the fact he's not wanted on Earth, Krypton, or Daxam. He is doing the best he can to find his place with what he has been given.

Many people may find Ben almost 'too good'. He doesn't necessarily like to please people, but he does like to help wherever he can. He wants to be accepted, and for the first time, he will be with other teenagers who are like him. He is happy to join the Teen Titans, and finally go outside of Smallville to make a difference.

GOALS:

Super-Lad wants to be an icon of a new generation like Superman was. He wants to show the world that the xenophobia of aliens they have is truly wrong and change the world for the better.

ADVANTAGES:

Approachable: Ben is easily approachable. He has a literally hard exterior, but generally his smile and facial features are easy going enough for anyone to find him easy to talk to.

Attractive: Ben can't help that he's attractive, true fact, it's his Kryptonian curse. He sticks mostly to Smallville, and as such does not turn as many heads as his attractiveness could. They've already seen him.

Balance: Due to his Kryptonian/Daxamite genetics, Ben has perfect balance. He rarely falls over, unless there is some kind of Kryptonite around...then he stumbles around a bit.

Confidence: Super-Lad is really confident about who he is. It probably comes from being nearly invulnerable. He holds himself tall and walks around with a purpose. Then again, he's simply happy with his current status in life.

Tireless: Ben can stay awake for hours and get very little sleep. The world he does seems to take very little strain on his body, although he tries to get at least a couple hours of sleep a night simply to keep his parents happy.

POWERS:

Hyper-Physiology: Super-Lad's physiology is not exactly like that on Earth. He may look like an Earthling, but he is not. He cannot conceive a child with an Earth-woman, nor can he catch many of their diseases. He may look of this world, but he is not.

Energy Absorption: Solar; Super-Lad's powers are all from the solar radiation fueling his cellular structure. The yellow sun gives off a radiation that gives him a variety of abilities. Further away from the yellow sun, or under the light of a different sun, different affects are shown to happen. The radiation from a red sun saps his powers if under it for to long.

Hyper-Breath: Super-Lad's breath is able to truly blow down the house (or in his case blow the barn door off the hinges). His lung capacity is much higher than that of a normal human and he can hold his breath for hours while in space.

Hyper-Senses: Super-Lad's senses are extremely heightened allowing him to hear and see things that most people cannot comprehend separate from the sounds of the world.

Immunity: Super-Lad is immune to the majority of diseases here on Earth. He cannot get a common cold, or even the flu.

Invulnerability: Super-Lad is nearly invulnerable except to large blunt punches at strength higher or around his, and then lead and kryptonite. The tissues in his body are extremely hard, although kryptonite and lead can easily cut through them.

Longevity: Super-Lad's genetics allow him to not live forever, but definitely live several centuries. Karsta Wur-Ul has lived over a hundred years, and remains alive and well, although her body has shown signs of aging. Super-Lad (under Sol) has the same possibility.

Hyper-Reflexes/Coordination: Due to Super-Lad's Hyper-Speed, Super-Lad can reflexes that are nearly instantaneous, although he has to think about them. They are much faster than human reflexes, but not 'in the bones' like they are with the Amazons.

Hyper-Speed: Super-Lad can move at enhanced speeds both when on the ground and flying. The only question becomes who is truly faster, him or Tachyon.

Flight: Super-Lad's solar cells allow him to fly.

Freezing-Breath: He can take a deep breath and cool it down to the point of freezing things as it leaves his system. This is also a fairly new ability and he needs to deeply concentrate to actually get the 'coldness' to come out and not just to blow people away.

Heat-Vision: Super-Lad can fire heat vision from his eyes. These 'microwaves' can be used to heat things to the point of starting them easily on fire. This ability is still somewhat new to him, and he (at times of heightened emotion) have troubles controlling it.

Micro-Vision: Super-Lad can attune his vision to see things that are much smaller than the average human can see. He cannot see atoms, but he can see things that are much smaller. This can also be used to see things that are much further away because he can heighten his vision to do so.

X-Ray Vision: Super-Lad can easily see through a variety of items. He can use it to see broken bones, or simply to look into the girls locker room (if it wasn't wrong to do so!). He cannot however, look through anything that has lead within it. This seems to stop his powers dead.

4D-Vision: Super-Lad has the ability to bend his vision to see in the ultra-dimensional space known as the 'bleed'. Very few beings can change their vision to do such.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Combat Style (Aerial): His ability to fly has allowed him to hone his skins at fighting within the sky. He only has three recurring villains in Smallville, but each of them have similar abilities. He is not perfect at his flying skill, but he can perfect it the more he fights.

Diplomacy: He knows how to break down to sides of an argument and create a compromise. It's probably one of his best skills he's learned. He likes to make everyone happy, and believes in many of the logical compromises that can come around.

Performing: Ben loves to work on the radio. He has the voice for it, and likes to talk. He also has an uncanny ability to perform. He praticed and studied in High School so that one day when he'd go out into the "real world" outside of Smallville he'd have the ability to blend in. Superman was his idol, and since both his parents knew Superman was Clark Kent, he wanted to be just like the bumbling reporter...except in the form of a bumbling radio host.

DISADVANTAGES:

Acute Sense: Due to Super-Lad's enhanced senses, certain things can attack these senses and cause him severe damage. His ears are uniquely tuned to hear things from up to miles away, and able to pick up a single voice from a crowd of millions. His ears are definitely a weak point.

Secret Identity: Benjamin Ross and Super-Lad are known to a few people in Smallville, but generally Ben is fast enough to change to and stop various attacks so people don't know it's him. Outside of Smallville, only Lois Lane knows who he is. He tries to keep himself incognito, although he's going to find out sometimes it's harder than he thinks.

Unique Physiology: Due to his Kryptonian/Daxamite heritage, Ben has an allergy to both lead and kryptonite. With kryptonite, Ben finds himself altered depending on the color of the Kryptonite. Green Kryptonite slowly weakens and eventually fully depletes his Kryptonian abilities. Red Kryptonite makes him lose his inhibitions much like alcohol would a regular person. Gold Kryptonite temporarily removes all the solar power from the cells of a Kryptonian meaning that they need to recharge to the sun. Silver Kryptonite makes him paranoid, and Kryptonite exposed to Magic gives him a drug-inducing (marajuana) effect. All of these are the original forms of Kryptonite from the planet Kryptonite. Synthetic Kryptonite does not affect him at all. He also has a human weakness to lead. He is not severely allergic like all Daxamites, but he can cut himself on a led bar or a lead bullet or knife can easily pierce his skin as it would any human.

UNIFORM:

Super-Lad's costume is fairly simple. It covers his entire body leaving his hands and feet open. Around his hands, he has a gold trim that matches the belt with the silver 's' at the waist. Most of the costume is blue, save for a red upside down triangle that encompasses his shoulders to the top of his pectoral muscles. In the center of the red triangle is the symbol of the House of El that stands out a bit from his chest. He also wears red boots that go up to mid-shin.

EQUIPMENT:

He doesn't really have any equipment.

TRANSPORTATION:

He can fly; he doesn't really need any other transportation. In San Francisco, he uses public transportation when he's not in costume.

Super-Lad is still new to the "game", in a sense, and does not have many contacts outside Smallville.
