She loves her job, and takes it very seriously. She will help all those who need her (including the villains the heroes fight). She's a Catholic, although far from strict, which plays into her personality. She's a strong spirited young woman who knows what she's talking about.

APPROACHABLE - There's something very approachable and non-threatening about Doctor O'Hare . Meaning that it is often that people come to Grace with their problems or questions.

CONFIDENCE - Grace possess an untouchable air of superiority that makes others instinctively realize they're not worried. They don't come off cocky, though they can at times. They just have a comforting presence that makes people know that she is the type of person who will get what they want when they want, by their own hands or use of powers if needed.

CONVICTION - Graces possesses great belief in them self, what she is doing, what she stands for. She is able to stand up to the forces of evil and temptation better than most.

HARD TO KILL - Simply put, Grace is incredibly difficult to kill. Even when you blow her to bits, she has an annoying habit of surviving... somehow. This can also relate to her having rock hard skin, or being incredibly fast and agile; and therefore good at dodging attacks.

BIOCHEMISTRY - The science of life processes of plants and animals. CN know about drugs, organic poisons, and diseases of all types.

BIOLOGY - The science of living creatures. Grace understands animal and plant taxonomy, can predict the behavior of unknown species, and know what eats what. Specialties include entemology (insects), ichthyology (fish) and ornithology (birds), among many others.

FIRST AID - Grace can attack physically and move to firing distance before any foe can complete an action that affects her. But make sure she's properly analyzed the situation, because if even one of the opponents has an Intellect higher than her Agility, any of her opponents can redirect actions toward her, and she can't dodge any of them.

GENETICS - The science of genes. she understands mutations, the effects of radiation on cellular matter, and even new life forms.

MEDICINE - The science of health. She know complex medical procedures, from first aid to surgery. She can make an average Intellect action to restore a card or the value of a random card in Health to a combatant who fell unconscious during the previous exchange. She can also perform medical treatments that will help heal serious wounds, but these cannot be performed during combat.

OBSERVATION - The use of all sensory powers with Willpower trump suits, plus a general ability to tell when something is interesting or out of place.

WRITING - The art of expressing oneself on paper through written word. She can reduce the difficulty when writing persuasive fiction or nonfiction.

DISADVANTAGES:

 

DANGER MAGNET - For reasons beyond her understanding, Grace O'Hare is what is 'politely' referred to in the biz as a danger-magnet. Trouble seems to seek her out regardless of what she does or where she goes. As such she is currently taking an internet class in 'escapology' in between kidnappings, bar-mitzvahs and other small calamities which tend to befall her.

MORAL CODE - No matter what, Grace will not kill or more importantly, allow someone else to kill or be killed by there actions or lack there of regardless of the situation or mitigating circumstances. Likewise, and to a lesser degree, they will not permit others to be harmed and try to minimize property damage where possible. Saving lives takes precedence over all, even over catching the bad guys. Needless to say there are times when this code causes problems.

MORTAL - When it comes down to the nitty gritty, Grace is human. Regardless of any armor they might wear, whens they might carry or even performance enhancing drugs they might take, she is only human. Her body is as susceptible to pain, injury and disease as that of the next person. Regardless of how often they train or how intensely they train, or how much they try to push their physical limits, they are human and subject to the physical limits of being human. Being human, they can be permanently hurt or die quite easily in comparison to some metas. A baseball bat to the head, a bullet wound to the chest, an allergic reaction to a peanut, slipping in the shower, all of these and more can result in permanent death for the character.

Doctor Pieter Cross (Doctor Mid-Nite): The third to call him Doctor Mid-Nite, but the second with the official title. Doctor Cross is Grace O'Hare's step-father and her inspiration for her medical degree.

RELATIVES:

 

Margaret O'Hare (Mother): Maggie O'Hare was a wonderful mother, who is an inspiration to her daughter, and has pushed her to become anything she wants.

Doctor Pieter Cross (Step-Father): He is Grace's step-father, and role model.


HISTORY

Margaret O'Hare was just a number of women that Doctor Pieter Cross met in his free clinic in Portsmouth, Washington. She was, however, the only woman whom he would eventually fall in love with. Maggie was a young woman who spent most of her life on the street. Her parents had kicked her out, and the city was all she had. Margaret was a spirited young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. She reminded him of someone he used to know, and regardless of telling her this, Margaret was thrilled to date the Doctor. She was also six months pregnant.

They married almost a year after Grace O'Hare was born. Maggie didn't know who the father was, which did not seem to bother Pieter. Maggie changed as she lived around Pieter. She became a respectable woman, although far from innocent.

Grace was a smart girl at a young age. She always seemed to know she wanted to be a doctor. She followed in her 'father's' footsteps, quickly ascending the ranks in grade school, then high school, and on to college. She studied meta-human physiology. She studied the physiology of humanoid-aliens. They all astonished her. By 21, she found herself as a graduate in medical school. She had been around medicine her entire life, now it was time to make her own path.
